This means that Hong Kong is tired. Work takes precedence over everything. Overtime is the norm, not the exception. This in turn makes Hong Kong one of the most difficult cities for unreached people to attend church. People feel like they just don’t have any time—or energy.
This is one of the reasons we are so passionate about our church launching in a mega-residential suburb of Hong Kong. We are taking the church right where the people live. We believe this will help eliminate barriers many would face when visiting church for the first time.
The people in Hong Kong desperately need the peace found in Matthew 11:28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest…”
You are helping them find it.
